an e-mail. Once we have spoken to you and agreed dates, we will hold the
booking for you for four days pending receipt of your deposit.

Please note that a deposit of not less than 25% of the total cost should accompany
the booking form. A reservation cannot be guaranteed until the deposit is
received and acknowledged. The booking form should be sent to Richard and Linda
Hindhaugh, 1 Loring Road Ravenscar, Scarborough YO13 0LY
- Balance: The balance is payable 42 days (6 weeks) before
the date of arrival. Bookings made within 42 days of the arrival should be
accompanied by the full amount.
Note on insurance: When you book
your UK holiday, you are entering into a legally binding contract. You are therefore
strongly recommended to arrange comprehensive travel insurance, to cover any
cancellation costs and to include full cover for your personal belongings and
any other liability, since these are not covered by the Owners Insurance. We
recommend Cancellation Plan. You can see full details of this

of mind.
Booking Conditions:
- Sea Views (Detached Bungalow) which is known as "the Property" is offered for holiday rental subject
to confirmation by Mr & Mrs Hindhaugh (the Owners) to the renter (the Client).
- To reserve the "Property", the Client should complete and sign
the booking form and return it together with payment of the initial non-refundable
deposit (minimum of 25% of the total rental due) Following receipt of the
booking form and deposit the Owner will send a booking confirmation and receipt.
This is the formal acceptance of the booking. Under certain circumstances,
a bond of £100 may be required which will be refunded in full within 2 weeks
of holiday expiry, conditional on the property and contents being left as
found on arrival.
- The Balance of the rent is payable not less than 42 days (6 Weeks)
before the start of the rental period If payment is not received by the due
date, the Owners reserve the right to give written notice that the reservation
is cancelled. The Client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent
unless the Owner is able to relet the Property. In this event clause 6 of
the booking form will apply.
- A charge, to cover repairs and / or renewals will be made for serious
damage to the Property or its' contents.
- Subject to clauses 2 & 3 above, in the event of a cancellation,
refunds of amounts paid will be made if the Owner is able to relet the Property
and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the
refundable amount. The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive
travel insurance policy and to have full cover to the party's personal belongings,
public liability etc., since these are not covered by the Owners Insurance.

- The rental shall commence at 3pm on the first day and finish at
10am on the last day.
- The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed 4
unless the Owner has given permission.
- The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take care of
the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the
rental period. The Owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional
cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition.
For the comfort and well being of all guests, we operate a non-smoking policy
inside the house, no pets are allowed in the Property. The Client also agrees
not to act in any way, which would cause disturbance to those residents in
neighbouring properties.
- The Client will report to the Owner without delay any defects in
the Property or breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances
in the Property, and arrangements for repair and / or replacement will be
made as soon as possible.
- Certain extra items not usually left in the Property such as this,
namely a pair of binoculars and metal detector are
there for the Client to use and enjoy freely during the holiday let, however
responsibility for the items' safekeeping outside of the Property, in transit,
in a vehicle etc. remains with the Client and any loss or damage must be paid
for at the replacement cost.
- The Owner shall not be liable to the Client: For any temporary
defects or stoppages in the supply of public services to the Property, nor
in respect of equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, for
any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions
or other matters beyond the control of the Owner. For any loss, damage or
inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the Property shall be
destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the holiday period
and in any such event, the Owner shall within seven days of the notification
to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of
the rental period.
- Under no circumstances shall the Owner's liability to the Client
exceed the amount paid to the Owner for the Rental period
- Data Protection Act: Customer details essential to manage the lets
are kept on a computer. We commit to keep this data secure, and never to share
it outside the business. You have the right to (a) to request that we don't
send you unsolicited information - eg on future availability (b) to see any
information we hold - we make a small charge for this.
